To sum it up, I’m just your average guy, web geek, student, teacher, husband, and father.
My interests have changed a lot over the years but I used to live and breath for nothing but Internet development, computers, geeky gadgets and lots of sci-fi.
Nowadays, I find my interests gravitate towards growing in my faith, reading, gardening, cooking, baking, entrepreneurialism, architecture, travel, fishing, camping, hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, snowboarding, water-skiing, drawing, painting, photography, watching movies, watching tv shows, to name a few, and if I’m not on my Apple computer or iPhone, I’m hanging out with the family or reading a book—as of late I’m spending a lot of time in books for school. I’ve decided to go back and get a bachelors in Web Design & Interactive Media to round out my background in Graphic Design and Computer Sciences.

As for my taste of music I enjoy christian rock, punk rock, alternative, some rap, and hip-hop as well as jazz, classical, and country, but mostly just about anything that has a great sound and beat. When it comes to movies I love Sci-Fi! Especially, comic book based. For example, Spider-Man, Fantastic 4, X-Men, Superman, and The Chronicles of Riddick. I also enjoy The Matrix, The Fifth Element, Tomb Raider, Star Wars, and Star Trek. Things I don’t like:
- People who don’t pay attention to their surroundings especially when there are others around. For example when someone stops in the middle of the hall to have a conversation with a friend, which is great, but they doesn’t move out of the way when someone approaches and needs to get by.
- I’m not a huge fan of lima beans.
- Meat! Yup I’m a Vegan.
- Undocumented code.
- People who can’t be straight with you, especially when you’ve done something wrong in their eyes.
Thing I do like:
- Thanksgiving, it’s my favorite holiday because it’s all about family. The food is great too.
- Road trips with lots of side trips.
- People who don’t interrupt you.
- The color yellow.
- Meeting new people and getting to “really” know them.
When I was young I wanted to be a doctor and travel the world to discover things like Indiana Jones, with a whip and a fedora. Later when I was in boy scouts I changed that dream to being an EMT and thus earned every badge associated with first-aid, safety, emergency care, water and the outdoors. By the time I got to high school, I decided I wanted to be an illustrator or graphic designer but once I got to college I fell in love with computers and become the “web guy” I am today.
